Twenty years of doing this for real

We're not an SEO agency that built software, and we're not a software company that read about SEO. We're a team of service business owners. For the last two decades we've promoted our own companies the hard way: building the websites, ranking them, managing the Business Profiles, asking for the reviews, fixing what Google broke, and paying for every lesson with our own money.

Along the way we ran the same tool stack everyone runs - the grid tracker with its credit meter, the review platform priced per location, the keyword suite built for full-time SEOs, the spreadsheet where Search Console exports go to die. Four logins, four invoices, and still nobody telling us plainly: what should we fix first?

So we built RankLens for ourselves first. Our own businesses ran on it before any customer did - they still do. Every opinion in the product came from that: the flat price exists because we hated credit meters. The citations list is short because we learned most of that industry is busywork. The AI brief exists because a dashboard without a "do this first" is just homework. The complaint capture exists because we've personally talked unhappy customers off a 1-star ledge, and it works.
