Know where you stand

One screen. Every number that matters. And what to fix first.

The SEO Overview pulls Search Console, GA4, site health, your backlink profile and RankLens's own daily snapshots onto one screen. Every two weeks, AI reads all of it - against your year-ago baseline - and writes the plain-English version: what's working, what needs attention, and up to three things to work on first. It interprets the data RankLens tracks; nothing gets invented.

RankLens SEO Overview - the AI site brief with linked priorities above KPI cards, the what-changed-this-week strip, and metric history charts

☝ The brief up top does the reading: what's working, what needs attention, and up to three priorities - each one opens the screen that fixes it.

The AI brief

A consultant's read of your data, every two weeks

The brief reads a compact snapshot of what RankLens already tracks - Search Console queries, GA4 sessions and conversions, site-health issues, your link profile, rank-grid share of the map pack, page inventory, competitors, open action items and your own daily metric history - and writes a headline, a short narrative, a "working well" list and a "needs attention" list.

Then the part you actually need: "Work on this first" - up to three priorities, each one a card that opens the exact RankLens screen where you fix it.

  • Grounded by rule - the brief may only cite numbers that exist in your data. No invented stats, ever.
  • Seasonality-aware - it checks the same 28-day window one year back, so a normal winter dip gets an off-season plan, not a panic rebuild
  • Re-run any time - a fresh brief generates in the background in 30-90 seconds, and a failed run keeps the previous analysis on screen

Your own history

KPIs with receipts: recorded by you, not estimated by a vendor

Once a day, RankLens snapshots every number on this screen - clicks, impressions, average position, CTR, domain rating, organic traffic, ranking keywords, backlinks, referring domains, PageSpeed, GA4 sessions and conversions. Exactly one row per site per day. The sparklines and Metric History charts are built from those rows, and the history card is labeled the only honest way: "Recorded daily by RankLens."

  • Two honest baselines - Search Console cards compare against the previous equal window; link-index metrics compare against your own stored snapshot, with the exact date printed on the card
  • No fake zeros - if a Search Console fetch fails, the day is skipped and a critical alert fires; bad zero rows from the past 10 days are purged once data returns
  • Honest ramp-up - history charts appear at day 3 and say "building metric history" until day 14, because two-week trends are the minimum worth trusting
DOMAIN RATING · SYNCED 3H AGO

The rest of the screen

Everything under the brief

Dual-axis clicks and impressions, an average-position chart where the line going down is good news, top pages by organic clicks - and the pieces below, each with its real cadence.

What changed this week

Up to three alerts from the last 7 days, critical first, plus your single biggest keyword winner and loser. Tick the ones you'll act on and send them to your Actions board in one click; items already filed show an "In Actions" chip, finished ones a dated ✓ Fixed.

Branded split, done right

Top keywords come as two tables - non-branded and branded - so brand traffic never inflates your SEO wins. Wrong column? One click moves the query, and RankLens learns its variants so it stays moved.

Live from Search Console · rolling 28-day window

GA4, translated to money

With a GA4 property connected: organic vs all sessions, conversions split into calls, forms and other, a channel-mix bar of where sessions really come from, and your top three converting organic pages.

Site speed verdict

Your homepage's mobile PageSpeed score with a verdict instead of a lecture: 90 and up is Good, 50-89 Needs work, below 50 Poor.

Metric history charts

Split line charts of clicks and your organic-traffic estimate, drawn entirely from RankLens's own daily snapshot rows - the history nobody can revise under you.

Organic competitors

The domains that overlap your keywords most, each with domain rating, shared and total keyword counts, traffic, and an overlap bar - powered by the same link index behind the Backlinks screen, included in the plan.

Re-synced on a 2-3 day cycle
Illustrative scenario A landscaper's clicks fall 21% through late October and the owner starts pricing a winter redesign. The brief checks the same 28-day window a year earlier: nearly the same dip. Verdict: seasonal - and the three priorities become the broken money pages and thin copy to fix before spring demand returns. The $4,000 panic rebuild never happens.
The honest scope: the brief interprets what RankLens tracks - it does not audit what it can't see. Anything not connected or not yet scanned is listed right on the card under "Not yet in this analysis", instead of being guessed at.
